The Sloterplasloop is organised by members of the AAC athletics club. If you would like to know more about this great club, please visit their website.

The start, finish and registration for the Sloterplasloop take place at the AAC athletics track.

Accessibility

If you come by bicycle, please place your bicycle in a rack, or else in a place where it will not be in the way (also in relation to emergency services).

The athletics track is easily accessible by public transport. Bus lines 61 or 369 stop right outside the door at the Troelstralaan stop. The terminus stops for tram line 13 and bus line 21 are also within walking distance of the athletics track.

From Amsterdam Sloterdijk railway station:

Take GVB city bus 61 or 369 (towards Schiphol)
Get off at the Troelstralaan stop (Ookmeer Athletics Track)
Cross over to the stop on the other side of the road and continue to Willinklaan. Turn
right into the driveway and walk straight ahead to Ookmeer Athletics Track.

From Amsterdam Central Station:

Take bus 21 (behind Central Station towards Geuzenveld/Savornin Lohmanstraat) and get off at the terminus.

Cross Savornin Lohmanstraat and walk into Troelstralaan on the east side/left side. Walk to Willinklaan, then turn left towards AAC.

Or take GVB tram 13 (towards Geuzenveld / Lambertus Zijlplein) and get off at the final stop: Lambertus Zijlplein.

Now walk for 15 minutes:
Head south on Willem Baerdesenstraat.
After 50 metres, turn right onto Nicolaas Ruychaverstraat.
After 50 metres, turn left onto Troelstralaan.
Cross Savornin Lohmanstraat and walk into Troelstralaan on the east side/left side. Walk to Willinklaan, then turn left towards AAC.

On Sundays, parking at the sports park is free. It is often busy, so bear in mind that you may have to walk a short distance.

Locations on the track

The layout of the track is shown on the map opposite.

  • The canteen is immediately to the right of the entrance. Here you can get coffee, tea, a toasted sandwich, etc.
  • The bicycle racks are directly in front of the entrance.
  • The changing rooms right next to the canteen
  • The first aid room is located to the right of the changing rooms, in front of the competition office.
  • The grandstand is on the far right of the track.
  • The cloakroom is at the top left of the track.
  • You will find the toilet trailer on your way to the cloakroom.
